Chantoozies singer and Neighbours star Tottie Goldsmith is alleged to have been busted in a drug operation at the Hot BBQ music festival outside Melbourne on Saturday.
Goldsmith was in the VIP Beach Club marquee during the festival when police swooped with drug sniffer dogs and nabbed the singer/actress.
Tottie Goldsmith is alleged to have been caught with cocaine.
In total, 40 people were caught with drugs at the festival. One person was charged with drug trafficking.
The Hot BBQ featured performances from Mos Def and the Hoodoo Gurus.
Tottie is the niece of Olivia Newton-John. She started her acting career in The Young Doctors and also appeared in Prisoner. In 2009, she played Cassandra Freedman in Neighbours.
In 1986, Tottie formed The Chantoozies with her brother Brett and Sons and Daughters star Ally Fowler. The Chantoozies had top 40 hits in Australia with covers of ‘Witch Queen of New Orleans’, ‘He’s Gonna Step On You Again’ and ‘Love The One You’re With’ as well as the original ‘Wanna Be Up’, written by her brother Brett and Chantoozies member Eve von Bibra.
