SXSW Showcase Spotlight - Bloc Party (London, U.K.)

London based indie rockers Bloc Party will venture across to the Texan industry festival in 2007 to show off their second album 'A Weekend In The City'.

The band's debut 'Silent Alarm' saw them become one of the "hot" bands of 2005 and they had a live show to back it up.

Despite all the hype that surrounded them in Europe, the Americans never actually got a taste of Bloc Party, who will head over to the continent for the first time.

They bring with them their second album 'A Weekend In The City', a slightly more mature sound for a fun as hell band.
