The on-hiatus Bloc Party have dropped a photo of all four members in the room together, suggesting a return to making music together.
The photo, which came via their twitter account (their first post in over two months) simply said “Merry Christmas from the Bloc. x”.
The photo shows all four members and an uncomfortable looking puppy in guitarist Russell Lissack’s arms standing in a nonchalant room featuring antique furniture with the edge of a record and CD collection, an Australian gold record for their second album ‘A Weekend In The City’ and a platinum record.
The band went on hiatus in mid-2009. During that time singer Kele Okereke released a solo electro album, ‘The Boxer’.
Guitarist and puppy holder Russell Lissack has been touring with Ash for the last year.
