Family, friends and fans have been constantly pouring their hearts out on Facebook in tribute to Sherbet guitarist Harvey James who lost his battle with cancer last night (Saturday, January 15, 2011).
At the Send Your Love To Harvey James Facebook site set up by Harvey’s sons Gabe and Josh and daughter Alexandra, Gabe posted “Dad used to read this page. I remember setting it up and within 1 day it had 1000 fans! when i opened his laptop and showed him truely warmed his soul. A very sincere thankyou to everyone for all the support and love you have shown us over the last 6 months and all the beautiful messages you have all left today. Harvey joined Sherbet in 1975 and played first on the band’s ‘Howzat’ album. It was Sherbet’s finest moment.
