Jason Collett’s Australian tour will be cut short after it was just announced that his Queensland and Byron Bay shows have been cancelled due to flooding in the area.
The band will play at Newcastle’s Great Northern Hotel tomorrow night (Wednesday, Jan 12), which will now be the last show of the tour.
“Please everyone....STAY SAFE and look out for each other,” the band said in a statement. “Our thoughts are with you. We love you all very much. We promise to come play some shows as soon as we can.”
The torrential floods have devastated Queensland with Brisbane city being evacuated today due to the rising Brisbane river.
