Snoop Dogg is making plans for his next album and winding up for his Australian tour dates.
His forthcoming album will be called Doggumentary Music, featuring the first single ‘Wet’ which was released just before Christmas.
The Cataracs-produced album was originally going to be titled as Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary as a sequel to his breakthrough smash of 1993.
He’s been a busy boy, appearing on-stage with Gorillaz, collaborating with Katy Perry and Dr Dre, and having released Malice In Wonderland in 2009 and a deluxe version last year with extra tunes.
Now the Doggfather is taking it on the road before the album’s release in March. He’ll do 11 dates across the states from January 18 to February 3, then he heads out to Australia.
He headlines that Supafest in April, with Nelly, Bow Wow and Taio Cruz. The tour hits Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on April 9, Joondalup Arena on April 10, Brisbane’s RNA Showgrounds on April 16 and the Melbourne Showgrounds on April 17.
