Swede pop throwbacks Roxette plan a new single and album.
The duo haven’t been as far out in the wilderness as one might think since their massive hits of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.
They released albums in 1994, 1999 and 2001 but went on hiatus after singer Marie Fredriksson had surgery for a brain tumour in 2002.
In 2009 they reunited for European tours, which continued into 2010.
During that time Fredriksson and Per Gessle started putting new music together, and in November 2010 they announced a world tour to coincide with the release of their eighth album Charm School.
Charm Schoolis slated for a February 11 release but they’ve announced the first single ‘She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio)’, which will have an official release January 10.
