Madonna was a surprise guest at a New York screening of Arthur and the Invisibles last week.
She attended the screening on Thursday January 11th for students of two charter schools.Madonna has a starring role in the movie, playing the part of Princess Selenia.
The movie also stars Snoop Dogg, David Bowie, Mia Farrow, Robert de Niro and Emilio Estevez.
Arthur and the Invisibles was created by filmmaker Luc Besson, who also made The Fifth Element.
The movie is based on the best selling children's book.
Her new album 'The Confessions Tour' will be released later this month.
