Lady Gaga was the most played artist on Australian radio this year according to Aircheck, the Australian company monitoring airplay.
Lady Gaga’s various songs were played 37079 times on stations all over Australia.
Aircheck, the Australian company monitoring radio airplay, has put together the list of most played International acts and most played Australian acts.
Pink was the second most played artist with 36982 plays and Powderfinger scored the number three position with 36163 plays making them also the most played Aussie act on Aussie radio.
Classic rock artists fared especially well on the Australian artist airplay chart. INXS were at 3, AC/DC 6, Cold Chisel 7, Hoodoo Gurus 8 and Midnight Oil 10.
