After selling out in a staggering 4 minutes this morning for Melbourne and 46 minutes for Sydney, Kyuss Lives! have moved their Melbourne and Sydney shows to bigger venues.
The Sydney show has been moved from Sydney’s Metro Theatre to the Big Top at Luna Park and the Melbourne show has been moved from Billboard to the Palace Theatre.
Naturally, those of you who have tickets to the original shows will still be able to use your ticket at the new venue. Those of you who missed out, however, had better be on the ball at 9am tomorrow (Friday, Nov 26) when the new tickets go on sale.
Just so you don’t have to search too hard, you can get tickets to both shows from www.ticketek.com.au or www.oztix.com.au, and if you’re in Sydney, www.bigtopsydney.com is your third option.
Kyuss were last in Australia in 1991 supporting Metallica during their “black” album tour. Shortly after their demise, members Nick Oliveri and Josh Homme formed Queens of the Stoneage, which is still Homme’s main gig (Homme will not be touring as part of this Kyuss lineup).
