Juke Kartel plan to put the finishing touches on their debut album as soon as their current touring commitments are out of the way.
The Melbourne band, featuring Rock Star Supernova runner-up Toby Rand, have been producing the album in Los Angeles with producer Mark Weinberg."The album will be finished once we have finished the American leg of the tour" they say in a New Year's message to fans. "We don't have a release date yet, we know you have all been asking, as soon as we know you will be the first to know."
An E.P has been released to make up the shortfall.
Juke Kartel are now signed to Sanctuary management and negotiating a deal for the release of the album.
From January 16, they will pick up the Rockstar Supernova tour, starting in Hollywood and also play the Australian and New Zealand dates with Rockstar Supernova in March.
The song 'Throw It Away' is currently available through iTunes.
