After the sudden death of Sub Pop Vice President of Sales and Director of Marketing Andy Kotowicz from injuries sustained in a car accident, acts as diverse as Muse, The Stones, Cee-Lo Green and Bon Iver have decided they could help out his family by auctioning off some collectibles.
Amongst the items listed are a Joe Strummer signature series Fender Telecaster autographed by the Foo Fighters, a Yamaha acoustic guitar autographed by James Blunt and Cee-Lo Green, a Monkees lunch box autographed by Peter Tork and a Dead Weather “triple-decker record” from Third Man Records.

Kotowicz joined the Sub Pop family in 2000 and had worked with Mudhoney, Comets On Fire, Wolf Eyes and Pissed Jeans amongst others.
He was killed in a car accident on October 21, 2010 at the age of 37. He is survived by his wife, Jocelyn Boyea and his daughter Anna.
