Geisha will perform their final show of the year this Thursday before singer Chris Doheny starts work on his next solo album.
The original Geisha formed in Melbourne in 1983 and nabbed a few hits along the way like ‘Kabuki’ and ‘Part Time Love Affair’.
In 2008, Doheny teamed with Melbourne guitarist and music journo Joe Matera for a 21st century Geisha. The result was a new album ‘Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’ this year.
The show at the Espy Gershwin Room this Thursday will also feature Attack of the Mannequins and Tricking Emma.
