Folk singer Joan Baez is recovering after falling 6 metres (20 feet) from a treehouse at her California home.
The singer was taken to hospital via ambulance and was treated for minor injuries and is now recovering at her home.
The singer’s treehouse was built in a 200 year old oak in her back yard and says she sleeps there all summer long.
Baez made a name for herself in the 60s as a civil rights activist whose song ‘We Shall Overcome’ became an anthem for the civil rights movement after she released it in the early 60s.
