Underground US hip-hop genius DOOM plans his first ever Australian tour.
The masked madman has made a name for himself with a series of pseudonyms and projects with some of rap’s biggest talents.
You might know him as his original name MF Doom, releasing underground classics like MM… Food and last year’s Born Like This.
You might know him under the DangerDoom name, working with Danger Mouse on albums like The Mouse And The Mask.
You might know him as Madvillian, from the iconic Madvilliany album with Madlib.
He’s worked with Gorillaz, Ghostface Killah, J Dilla, and Thom Yorke from Radiohead has remixed his track ‘Gazzillion Ear’.
You might like to get to know him pronto, if you’re serious about ground-breaking beats and surrealist rhymes.
Now named DOOM, he’ll bring the noise to Auckland, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Adelaide in 2011.
The news comes from a Facebook page created by hip-hop promoter Slingshot Touring, with the dates spanning March 22 to 28, 2011.
