The music program for the Sydney Festival is sure to dazzle with a diverse range of performers.
The Sydney Festival runs from January 8 to January 30 and will showcase over 100 events at over 30 venues across the Harbour City.
Big name international performers come in the form of experimental music titan Philip Glass, country icon Emmylou Harris, hippie-hop act Arrested Development, rock howlers Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, freakfolk figurehead Sufjan Stevens, and Latin kings Los Lobos.
There will be performances from global indie heroes Wire, Health, Holy Fuck, Beach House, Matt & Kim, Owen Pallett, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Mountain Man, The Unthanks and more.
And local lights include Paul Kelly, Super Wild Horses, My Disco, Decoder Ring, Gotye, Holly Miranda, Gareth Liddiard from The Drones, Sarah Blasko, Kram from Spiderbait, The Necks, Parades and, yes, even more.
The events range from straight-up concerts to live performances in art project settings to music and film mash-ups and everything in between.
