Music legend Engelbert Humperdinck has covered the James Blunt hit ‘Goodbye My Lover’ on his new album ‘Released’.
‘Goodbye My Lover’ was originally featured on Blunt’s debut album ‘Back To Bedlam’. It was the 4th single from that album.
For ‘Released’, Engelbert brought in Aussie producers Paul Wiltshire and Victoria Wu to modernize his sound. They had previously worked with Human Nature, Backstreet Boys, Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem and Anthony Callea.
The album was recorded at Engelbert’s home studio in Los Angeles earlier this year.
For the record, EH also performs the Bob Seger classic ‘We’ve Got Tonight’ and Eric Clapton’s ‘Wonderful Tonight’.
‘Released’ is released today in Australia by Universal Music.
Engelbert started his Australian tour this week in Perth.
