Multi-platinum pop revivalists Human Nature promises a Las Vegas-styled album.
The album is titled Vegas: Songs From Sin City, the first album since 2008’s A Symphony Of Hits, where they covered their own hits and others' with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
Vegas is inspired by their two-year stint raking in the dough on the strip in Sin City with their ‘Smokey Robinson presents Human Nature: The Ultimate Celebration of Motown’ show.
They’ve done a duet with Vegas stand-by Barry Manilow on a medley of ‘Mandy’ and ‘It Could Be Magic’ for the album.
Other covers include Vegas staples such as ‘Viva Las Vegas’, ‘The Lady Is A Tramp’, ‘It’s Not Unusual’, ‘Danke Schoen’, and ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’.
Andrew Tierney said via a press release, “Las Vegas has a musical history that is impossible to ignore and many of our musical idols have found fame and success on the strip”.
“We have been incredibly lucky to find our own success in Las Vegas and we look forward to sharing our new sound, city and second home with our Australian fans through this album.”
The group will also return to Australia in December to tour for the first time in three years on the ‘Direct From Las Vegas! Australian Symphony Tour’ with the Australian Symphony Orchestra.
Vegas: Songs From Sin City will be released on November 12.
