Musically, art-rock confronts the impending doom of the Armageddon with the dreary-but-epic sounds of the bizarrely titled iLiKETRAiNS.
Lyrically they send shivers down your spine as vocalist Dave Martin holds a mirror up to society and narrates it as though God himself had lost his mind, on the brink of a violent revenge for the insanity his creations had caused him.Sound a bit heavy for a description for a band? You should try listening to them.
The band also hosts a night in their hometown of Leeds where they show off bands they've met and/or heard on the road and dig. The night is an "audiovisual experience", much like their shows are said to be.
iLiKETRAiNS show off influences coming from the post-punk era of the Manchester scene.
The band make their first journey to the USA in March as part of South by Southwest.
Their debut album 'Progress Reform' is out now through Beggars Banquet.
