Guitarist from pop rock band Sing It Loud notes that the new Kings Of Leon album title and cover art “looks familiar”.
Keiren Smith, of Minneapolis pop rock outfit Sing It Loud, cheekily tweeted yesterday “the new kings of leon album artwork looks familiar haha..... and so does the name! ;)”
The dusky, tropical album cover looks very similar to Sing It Loud’s Everything Collide, which was released by Epitaph in May this year.
And the title, Come Around Sundown, does seem to echo Sing It Loud’s first Epitaph album, 2008’s Come Around.
There’s not much in it really, since beachy ‘70s artwork has been rife in the indie scene for the last year or so, but it’s a remarkable coincidence.
