INXS are planning to release a greatest hits album, with a twist. Each song has been re-recorded with a variety of guest vocalists.
The track listing is still being finalised, but the band have announced a few of the guest singers.
Australian roots artist Dan Sultan will perform the band’s early hit ‘Just Keep Walking’ amongst other singers, including Ben Harper, Rob Thomas and Train’s Pat Monahan.
Ben Harper’s version of ‘Never Tear Us Apart’ was released in August and provides a tantalising insight into the record.
No release date has been set for the record as of yet.
Singer J.D. Fortune is still the band’s permanent front man, appearing most recently with the band at last week’s AFL Grand Final at the MCG in Melbourne.
