A full track-listing has been released for Ray Davies’ all-star Kinks cover album.
News has been leaking here and there about the Kinks singer’s See My Friends project, where Davies records classic tracks with some of the world’s biggest artists.
It has been revealed that the project began when Davies recorded ‘Til The End Of The Day’ with the late Alex Chilton.
He then assembled a star-studded list of artists to revisit his songs, including Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Lucinda Williams, Mumford & Sons, Spoon, Black Francis, and Bruce Springsteen.
Metallica help him out on ‘You Really Got Me’, Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol guests on ‘Tired Of Waiting’, Paloma Faith helps out with Lola and Billy Corgan rocks ‘All Day And All Of The Night’.
You can catch a video snippet of Metallica in the studio with Davies at his See My Friends site.
The album will be released on November 1.
