Donny Tourette, singer of faux punk band Towers Of London, has escaped from the British Celebrity Big Brother house.
Tourette (real name, Patrick Brannan) lasted 48 hours in the house - which he briefly shared with the likes of Jermaine Jackson and Leo Sayer - before he realised it was beneath even him. He made his dash for freedom over one of the walls surrounding the complex.Channel 4 said in a statement, "Making contact with the outside world is a fundamental rule break and as such Donny will not be returning to the Celebrity Big Brother house."
DON'T BECOME PETE DOHERTY, MUM PLEADS
Meanwhile, Tourette's punk credentials were brought further into question when his middle-class mother expressed concerns that her little boy may be exposed to the naughty world of drugs.
Patricia Brannan told the Sunday Mirror newspaper, "I'm well aware Patrick has gone into an industry where drugs are readily available. I have sat down with Patrick and we've spoken about drugs.
"After all, it's very upsetting to see a young man like Pete Doherty end up the way he has. And I wouldn't want Patrick to end up like that."
