Grammy-nominated singer and actor Tyrese Gibson has been accused of twice punching his pregnant girlfriend.
Authorities in Los Angeles are investigating the incident, which is alleged to have occurred on Thursday. The unnamed woman, who is three months pregnant, and the 28-year-old were involved in a domestic dispute, police said. She was treated by paramedics, but showed no signs of visible injury.Gibson - who performs under the monikers Tyrese and Black-Ty - was nominated for a Male R&B Vocal Performance Grammy in 2003, for 'How You Gonna Act Like That', from his platinum selling album 'I Wanna Go There'. His latest album, 'Alter Ego', was released in 2006. He has also appeared in such feature films as 'Baby Boy', '2 Fast 2 Furious' and 'Flight Of The Phoenix'.
