Elan's 'Whatever It Takes' video was the most played music video on Undercover in December and has topped the Undercover streaming chart once again this week for the second week.
'Whatever It Takes' is the third single from Elan's sophomore album 'London Express'.The video is a piss-take on the music industry, featuring a record executive trying to change Elan's image.
"The funniest part about making this video was the eerie similarity to some actual moments I've had," Elan told to Undercover News. "Recently I have received a lot of calls from friends that are either signed to majors or in the process of getting a "record deal"... you'd be surprised how many of us are involved in a constant struggle to try to make the "suits" understand that we just want to make our music. But I think people are starting to get it".
Elan's previous video 'This Fool's Life' was the longest charting number one song of 2006 for Mexico based music channel Telehit.
