U.S. based Latin rock star Elan has stayed on the top of the Spanish chart Telehits for the last 4 weeks with her single 'This Fool's Life'.
The track, from her most recent album 'London Express', is the biggest hit to date for the singer/songwriter.'This Fool's Life' is currently outselling new music from Fergie, Pearl Jam, The Rasmus and AFI in Spain.
The song has also been a runaway hit in Mexico. It has been the biggest selling English speaking song in Mexico for the last 2 months.
The success is coming at a time when Elan is fighting for the legal custody of her name from former Wailers singer Elan Atias. Atias suddenly became know as just Elan when he released his debut album this year. The real Elan has been known professionally by the name for years, and has had hits by her name across three continents.
