Over two nights at Sydney's Opera House, a trio of respected rockers pay tribute to the landmark Beatles album.
On January 5 and 6, Jon Stevens, Jack Jones, and John Waters will perform the classic songs from 'The White Album' in the Concert Hall at the Sydney Opera House. They will be joined by a twelve-piece band to fully realise the ambitious songs.'The White Album' routinely features in top ten albums of all time lists, no surprise considering the diversity of sounds from pop, soul, vaudeville, folk and rock n' roll. It is The Beatles highest selling album, a double featuring some of their most memorable songs like 'Back In The USSR', 'Dear Prudence', 'Ob-LaDi, Ob-La-Da', 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps', 'Why Don't We Do It In The Road?', 'Helter Skelter', 'Revolution 9' and many more.
Some of this country's most reverent musicians will be performing these classics and other album tracks. Bringing 'The White Album' to life all over again is Noiseworks singer, onetime Judas in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and vocalist for INXS Jon Stevens, guitar virtuoso and ex-Southern Son Jack Jones, and renowned Beatles tragic John Waters.
