A Perfect Circle have reformed after six years and are planning a run of shows in the USA later this year.
Tour dates are yet to be confirmed, but the band will be playing small clubs in Phoenix, L.A., Seattle, San Francisco and Las Vegas.The lineup for the new incarnation of the band will be original members Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howerdel, as well as James Iha formerly of the Smashing Pumpkins on guitar, Josh Freese on drums and Matt McJunkins on bass.
There is no word on whether or not the band will be recording a new album.
The band released three albums, the last being a covers album that included songs by Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, John Lennon, Marvin Gaye and Black Flag.
