Not one to be outdone creatively, Jack White has invented a new format for The Dead Weather’s new single, ‘Blue Blood Blues’.
The "triple decker record" is essentially a 7" with an otherwise unreleased song, contained within another record that can be cracked open to reveal the inner tune.There will only be 300 copies of the special edition available. 100 will be available through the Third Man Records store in Nashville, TN while the remaining 200 will be available randomly through mail order and "at select brick and mortar vinyl dealers worldwide."
You can buy 'Blue Blood Blues' on tri-colour 7" through the Third Man Records web store now, while the triple decker record will be available on Friday, September 17.
