Brisbane indie pop upstarts Hungry Kids Of Hungary are on the verge of their debut album and a huge national tour.
The buzz on the Brissy four-piece has been humming for a couple of years now, despite their awful name. The hype should be realized with the release of their debut album Escapades on October 1.
They won the Queensland leg of triple j unearthed in 2008, played the Big Day Out, and have had music from their first two EPs on TV shows like Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty and Cougar Town.
Now they head off on their monster album tour with Big Scary and Ball Park Music, hitting almost every state and territory.
