50-year old Mary Byrne from Ireland says she wants to be like Shirley Bassey or Tom Jones and she might very well be this year`s Susan Boyle.
Mary has been working behind a cash register for the past 11 years and says she got the guts back to sing about 5 years ago.Mary Byrne sang Tom Jones' 'I Who Have Nothing' on the X Factor in the UK. Simon Cowell said she had the best voice of the evening and that he really liked her.
The three other judges were also unanimous in their liking of Mary Byrne.
