Glenn Richards of Augie March presents his new band at Sony’s BIGSOUND showcase.
The showcase at the Bakery Outdoor Stage was the first time his new band has played live. The band, called the Devil Steel Mills Brothers, features Glenn's brother, as well as The Drones' drummer Mike Noga and guitarist Dan Luscombe.
For a first show, it was a pretty polished affair, as they rambled through a short set of more countrified songs than what Augie March fans might be used to.
He announced that the band will have a debut album out in November.
They were supported by Southern rock youngsters Georgia Fair, who are readying their second EP and have already snagged a song placement on the recent, nostalgia-driven Big M commercial.
