Jimmy Barnes could not believe how early he was performing this morning. 7am and the full band was cranking up on stage in Melbourne for Triple M.
Barnesy was previewing songs from his new album 'Rage and Ruin' and a decent dose of classic for Eddie McGuire's Hot Breakfast radio program.The audience of Triple M winners was treated firstly to 'Letter From A Dead Heart' off 'Rage and Ruin'. Barnesy also performed his first ever solo hit, 1984's 'No Second Prize', his Cold Chisel classic 'Flame Trees', signature tune 'Working Class Man' and two more 'Rage and Ruin' tracks 'Before The Devil Knows You're Dead' and the new single 'God Or Money'.
'Rage and Ruin', the first Jimmy Barnes album of original rock songs since 1999, was released a week ago. It will fight it out for a debut on next week's chart with Katy Perry and Disturbed.
