Megan Washington has been making up songs for almost 20 years. That`s not bad for a 24-year old.
Washington dropped by Undercover to talk about how it all began for her, growing up in New Guinea, then moving to Brisbane before finally settling in Melbourne."I remember as a very young girl, at 5 or 6, I used to make up nonsensical songs and play them to my mother as actual compositions that I have learnt," she tells Undercover News. "The first "song" song I ever wrote was when I was 14. If I play it would sound like a really, really shit Avril Lavigne b-side. It was really bad. It was really awful".
Luckily the bad Avril Lavigne b-side sounding did not make her debut album 'I Believe You Liar'. The album debuted on the ARIA chart four weeks ago and has remained in the Top 10.
