The Soul Generals, the James Brown backing band, played in honor of the late Godfather of Soul in his hometown of Augusta on Saturday afternoon.
The show at the Soul Bar in Augusta turned into an all-night jam session.James Brown died on Christmas Day at the age of 73.
The Soul Generals plan on continuing despite Brown's death. Trumpet player Hollie Farris says the band plans to continue as a tribute to Brown.
