Director Tim Burton (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands) - a huge fan of Las Vegas rockers The Killers - has offered to direct a video off their new album.
Burton visited the band in their London studio while they were recording their as yet untitled album and offered to direct a video for their song 'Read My Mind'.The band will be touring America in October, Europe in November and you can expect to see them in Australia early next year.
The band are currently in talks with Big Day Out promoters Lees & West to appear on the 2007 line up.
Their 2nd album will be released in the USA on Tuesday October 3.
