Megadeth, Gwar, NOFX and Descendents kick off monster metal, punk and hardcore festival.

The No Sleep Til (Particular City) Festival has announced a giant line-up for a string of December dates.

Headlining are thrash legends Megadeth, who will be performing their classic Rust In Peace album in its entirety.

They're joined by So-Cal punk icons NOFX and Descendents, Boston bruisers Dropkick Murphys, local metalcore heroes Parkway Drive, and Florida's pop-metalcore kids A Day To Remember.

Then there's shock rock freaks Gwar, revered modern punks Alkaline Trio, Sweden's Katatonia, Atreyu, Frenzal Rhomb, and punk rock karaoke band Me First And The Gimme Gimmes.

It keeps coming, with 3 Inches Of Blood, Suicide Silence, August Burns Red, We Came As Romans, House VS Hurricane, Break Even, Heroes For Hire, Confession, Antagonist A.D., The Outsiders, Shitripper and Leeches.

Some bands will be mixed up across the dates, but the headliners remain the same.

Tickets for No Sleep Til go on sale September 9.
