The New Year’s Falls Festival has announced a handful of acts six months out.
The double-up festival in Victoria and Tasmania has announced Brit rockers Arctic Monkeys, indie stars Fleet Foxes, and the Easy Dub All Stars, who will be performing their version of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon.
They’ve also confirmed Sydney quartet The Jezabels and iconic Kiwi songwriter Tim Finn. And they'll host US comic Arj Barker.
Of course, there are “60 unnamed acts to come”, but the above are a damn good start.
The Falls Festivals take place from December 28 to January 1 at Lorne in Victoria and December 29 to January 1 at Marion Bay in Tasmania.
Fans can already sign up for the ticket ballot at the Falls Festival website.
Last year the Falls hosted Public Enemy, Tame Impala, Interpol, The Living End, The National, Joan Jett, Klaxons, The Rapture, Cold War Kids and scores more.
Fans in other states need to worry, as Falls bands routinely play Southbound in Perth and sideshows up the East Coast.
