Sydney indie quartet Cabins have a new clip for ‘Catcher In The Rye’ and hit the East Coast.
The band's mini-album Bright Victory is full of dramatic, dusty psych rock and has been getting rave reviews. It has snaffled four stars across the board, from JMag, The Age, Rolling Stone and Blunt and was Drum Media's CD Of The Week.
Cabins have been put alongside Tame Impala and Cloud Control in the 'Watch This Space' category by the SMH.
Now they've put together a video for the slow-burn single 'Catcher In The Rye' shot, appropriately enough, in a dilapidated warehouse.
In support of Bright Victory, they're doing four headline slots on the East Coast, in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne, with Step-Panther.
Details, and the clip, are below.
August 20 – Melt, Sydney
August 21 – Builders Arms, Melbourne
August 26 – Neverland Bar, Gold Coast
August 27 – The Troubadour, Brisbane
