Eminem’s new video for ‘Space Bound’ has been released, featuring porn star Sasha Grey and a gory suicide.
It was directed by Joseph Kahn, who did the clip for ‘Love The Way You Lie’, an echoes the ‘Guilty Conscience’ video with Eminem narrating the action from the wings.
‘Space Bound’s a pretty vicious song about the paranoid protagonist angsting over his failed relationship and porn-actress-turned-semi-mainstream-actress Sasha Grey is the one that feels the brunt of his rage.
Then, when he realises it’s all a psychotic nightmare, Eminem’s finishes himself off with a handgun, in slow-motion, a few times.
The language Ain’t Safe For Work, but neither is the imagery, with a touch of domestic violence (hallucinatory as it is) and some rather graphic suicidal gunplay.
