Andy Rourke, one time member of the Smiths, has confirmed that he will not be a part of Freebass during their world tour.
Rourke contributed to their debut album, but will be replaced by Gary Briggs (Haven, The Strays) when it comes to the live shows.The band is made up entirely of bass players (not just playing bass), Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order), Mani (Stone Roses, Primal Scream) and Gary Briggs.
At the moment the band have just one date booked. They will play Bubbles @ O2, London on Thursday, September 16.
The band's debut album 'It's A Beautiful Life' is available now via digital download at Fac51.
