Emo act Alesana claim two members of skate punks Pennywise assaulted them at the Denver Warped date.
The North Carolina 'post-hardcore' band Alesana sent a press release to Alternative Press recounting an experience on their tour bus.They claim two "very drunk" members of Pennywise assaulted them, their friends and their tour manager, and began "trashing our bus".
The Denver police were called and had to physically restrain the Pennywise band members. The statement concluded, "Luckily, no one in our camp was injured."
The Denver date was the final show of Pennywise's Warped leg.
Both bands are booked to play Australia's forthcoming Soundwave festival.
