Angus and Julia Stone, Trentemoller, Built To Spill and Shout Out Louds lead Peats Ridge festival
Barely half way through 2010 and we're already thinking about New Year's.Glenworth Valley will host the ultra-green Peats Ridge Festival again and they've already announced a formidable first line-up.
It's a strange mix of local and international folk, indie rock, roots, hip hop and electro.
Let's start with Angus and Julia Stone, Danish electro act Trentemoller, US indie rock champs Built To Spill, Kate Miler-Heidke, Swedish rockers Shout Out Louds, UK/US solo artist Lightspeed Champion, Brit breakbeat DJs Freestylers, prog-electro trio PVT and soundscape band Decoder Ring.
And it continues in that eclectic vein, with The Dynamites, The Break, Washington, Freq Nasty, The Audreys, Space Invadas, Spit Syndicate, Cloud Control, Jonathon Boulet, The Jezabels, Dan Mangan, Thundamentals, Horrorshow, Belles Will Ring and The Gin Club.

Peats Ridge is a sustainable arts and music fest, held in the lush Glenworth Valley an hour north of Sydney, from December 29 to January 1.
So if you're planning your New Year's Eve party in the second week of August, it might help to know tickets go on sale on August 19.
