Meredith has announced their first act, Victorian legends The Dirty Three.
We noted that Meredith is sure to be a humdinger this year, with a celebration of 20 years of Australia's finest festival.And to begin, a band that has helped define the ramshackle aesthetic of the fest: the Dirty Three.
Obviously, this isn't the first time that world-renowned trio - Warren Ellis, Mick Turner and Jim White - have visited the usually-sleepy ampitheatre.
They played at the 1994, 1997 and 2004 festivals, turning themselves into legends along the way.
