James Taylor, Billy Preston, Ronnie Spector and Badfinger are just a few of the artists who are going to appear on ‘Come And Get It: The Best of Apple Records’ in October.
The compilation will be the first commercial multi-artist compilation ever to be released from the label, which was started up by The Beatles in the 1968.The 21 track compilation shows the diversity of sounds that came out of the label with soul, folk and rock.
Notable tracks include Hot Chocolate Band's (they were better known later on as simply Hot Chocolate) sleepy 'Give Peace A Chance', Billy Preston's epic soul tune 'That's The Way God Planned It' and Jackie Lomax's super-cool 'New Day'.
