From January 3rd, 2007, visitors to Disneyland's Space Mountain ride will be treated to a soundtrack customized by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The songs featured on the ride will be their 1989 cover of the Stevie Wonder hit 'Higher Ground' and the 1999 hit 'Around The World'.Space Mountain will also feature new special effects with 200 lights brightening up the 6000 feet roller coaster track.
The four minute ride is the world's largest steel looping roller coaster. Guests take off from zero to 55 miles per hour in 4 seconds.
The songs were remixed for the ride by Chili Peppers mixer Ryan Hewitt.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers Space Mountain Ride will be active from January 3rd until April 26th.
