Despite having let some names slip already, Soundwave have set the date to announce the full 2011 line-up.
The massive Australian heavy music festival has been drip-feeding band names over the last few weeks.So far, they've announced eight acts for the 2011 line-up: The Blackout, Protest The Hero, The Ataris, Less Than Jake, Mad Caddies, A Skylit Drive, All That Remains, and Trash Talk.
Now the Soundwave organisers have announced their announcement date. On August 5 they will officially announce the full line-up for the festival.
It's guaranteed to be a monster if last year's effort was any indication, with a reformed Faith No More and Jane's Addiction teaming up with Paramore, AFI, Placebo, and forty others from all around the world.
So let's reiterate some completely unsubstantiated rumoured bands: Sum 41, New Found Glory, Bring Me The Horizon, DevilDriver, Slayer, The Gaslight Anthem, Soundgarden, Primus, System Of A Down, Terror, Hatebreed, H2O and MxPx.
