Afro-pop kids Vampire Weekend are being sued by the model from their latest album.
It turns out that the fresh preppy girl in the yellow polo shirt whose photo appeared on the cover of their most recent album Contra claims that she never authorised the use of her image.TMZ reveals that model Kirsten Kennis claims that she had no idea the original photo, which was taken in 1983, would appear on the cover of Contra .
In the lawsuit, she claims that the signature on the release forms that Vampire Weekend supposedly have were forged by the original photographer Tod Brody.
Kennis is suing the band and the photographer for $2 million.
