A selection of music identities will contribute to the ‘Festival’ issue of Five Dials online literary magazine.
Five Dials is a free PDF lit mag from publisher Hamish Hamilton (who have published everyone from Salinger to Capote to de Botton to Zadie Smith).Next month's issue will feature writing from musicians and industry identities Iggy Pop, Ryan Adams, Mike Watt, Kele from Bloc Party, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, Dean Wareham of Galaxie 500, James Greer ex-Guided By Voices, and Black Flag and Sonic Youth artist Raymond Pettibon.
Pieces will range from poetry to short story to memoir, and they will run features on Woodstock and Burning Man festivals.
