As part of their '3 Artists 1 Song' promotional gambit to keep rock stars in Chuck Taylors, Converse plug their second collaborative coup.Hip hop sensation Kid Cudi, multi-instrumentalist Rostram Batmanglij from New York worldbeat hipster Vampire Weekend and Bethany Cosentino from even hipper surf-pop kids Best Coast created the new single 'All Summer'.
This follows up the Converse effort of hooking up Santigold, Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, and Pharrell Williams, who created the tune 'My Drive Thru' in 2008.

No word on further matchmaking from the coolsie cobbler but if Converse can continue putting together tunes from artists like this, we'll let the commercial aspect slide.
